Cancer 2019 stars: year ahead

Still worrying about the future? Periods of change and uncertainty can be stressful (especially for security-loving Crabs!), but relax, this year’s astro-forces should work in your favour. As movement swirls through your horoscope, a yearning to travel or relocate could become an obsession, while for singles, a mysterious foreigner might set you swooning. A desire to teach or support others might also take hold, but don’t overload yourself if you’re already busy.

Health & wellbeing

Freedom and fresh air are your magic elixirs! If boredom has been creeping in, social sports like tennis or bowls may appeal, along with boating and beach strolls (you’re a water-loving Crab, after all). Autumn’s energetic patterns might propel you into fundraisers or team pursuits, so before life speeds up, freeze up a stack of healthy meals. Last-minute catchups and holidays should nourish your soul through spring, so pack those bags and release your inner gypsy.

Family

Make ‘quality not quantity’ your 2019 mantra, and don’t let outside obligations impact your closest relationships. Kids or parents could require extra attention, while winter’s restless stars might point you towards real estate windows. As that travel bug bites through spring, thoughts may even turn to caravanning. Spring might send you on a sentimental journey: old holiday haunts, dusty board games, family reunions … they don’t make ‘em like they used to.

Home enhancements

– Spring’s houseproud stars could bring a move or renos
– To lift the vibe, clear bedroom clutter and shift your bed
– Hang a suncatcher in the north west to attract helpful people

Attract love

– Older or business-minded types could make an impression
– July’s romantic winds might blow up a gale for singles
– Display romantic prints in your bedroom’s south west corner

Attract abundance

– August could bring an unexpected bonus or surprise payment
– Sitting on a great idea? Kick things off in July or August

Cancer food & fitness style

Your sign craves anything moist and yummy, from juicy melons to casseroles, soups, cakes and risottos… and then, the desserts. With Cancer ruling all things aquatic, it may be time to learn more about seafood. Okay, so you may draw the line at crabs, but your thighs will thank you.

Being a water sign, swimming and aquaerobics might hit the spot, or sports like sailing and canoeing may appeal. But let’s not forget, you’re also the zodiac’s homebody, so if swimsuits aren’t your style, stock up on fitness DVDs or convert a spare room into a chilled out space that’s just for you. Pilates and yoga should leave you supple and strong.

Cancer travel style

Sentimental Cancerians love a trip down memory lane, so childhood holiday haunts, catch-ups with friends and historical towns often strike a chord. Alternatively, campervans and houseboats can create a cosy home away from home.

TRY: Caravan or campervan trip, heritage hotel or B&B, Sovereign Hill in Ballarat,  houseboat, family reunion, casino, seaside cabin, train journey, gourmet food and wine region, Pacific island cruise, Scottish or Irish castle

Cancerian gemstones and crystals

Amber, calcite, citrine, emerald, moonstone (soothing and intuitive), opal, pink tourmaline, pearl (your ruling gem). I you’d like to order crystals email jennyblume@iprimus.com.au … I often have a few in stock.
