Virgo 2018 stars: year ahead

Life looks jam-packed, but don’t forget to schedule in ‘me time’. For many, art or craft classes will tap into that creative streak, and with that knack for business, your talents might prove profitable. By winter, you’ll be yearning to get away, but watch your spending, or beautiful things (or people!) might lead you astray.

Love & friendship

As that sentimental side surges, old friends and colleagues will come out of the woodwork; you might even rekindle a romance or be offered a job. Autumn’s over-the-top patterns could stir up an old conflict, but the July 28 eclipse should bring a breakthrough – and way more support. From spring, you’ll be propelled towards some amazing new people, and some awe-inspiring places as well. It’s all about finding your tribe!

Cash & career

Jupiter is turning into a chatterbox this year, so look to network-style enterprises like Tupperware, or polish up those sales skills at markets and car boot sales. Winter’s supercharged stars could propel you into a stimulating new job (or a whole new career!), while on the financial front, October’s optimistic stars could mark a turning point. As your fortunes rise through spring you might even decide to move or renovate.

Health & wellbeing

Energy. Determination. Motivation. As the planets align, making positive lifestyle changes should be a cinch; for couples, the energetic February 16 eclipse might even trigger a shared fitness kick. Dancing fits perfectly as the weather cools, along with strength-building sports like boxercise. And remember, those creative juices will be flowing all year, so if you really want to kick back, pick up a pen or paintbrush.

TIP: Been holding it all in? Bodywork and massages should be worth every cent

Virgo food & fitness style

Being the most health conscious sign, fresh and organic is best for you. Some may call you fussy, but being an earth-ruled sign, root crops, salads and whole foods suit you and your digestive system best. To add more variety and flavor, why not start a herb garden?

Virgos are generally one of the fittest signs … when they can find the time! Regularity is the key so if need be, draw up a schedule and stick it on the fridge. Activities that require precision, like Pilates and Iyengar yoga often appeal, along with bowling, tennis and walking. Kick things off with a personal training session, but first, grab some good shoes.

Peridot (your special healing stone), amber, blue topaz, chrysocolla, carnelian, citrine, garnet, moonstone, opal, sodalite, sardonyx (a ruling stone). I you’d like to order crystals email jennyblume@iprimus.com.au … I often have a few in stock.

Virgo travel style

Simplicity is the key to a successful holiday for Virgos, along with fresh air, good company and delicious food. If you return home feeling fitter and healthier, all the better. Wellness retreats and walking holidays tick all the right boxes.
